Century Companies, Inc. was founded as a rural Montana asphalt paving service company and paving related construction contractor.  We began operations in 1975 and today our coverage area serves the rural areas of central, north central and eastern Montana as well as North Dakota and the Wyoming Bighorn Basin.  By building unusually strong relationships with customers unaccustomed to outstanding service, Century has developed a reputation as the rural-market leader and, in many cases, the only company capable of doing the work to the required specifications. We employ 50-150 people depending on the season.

Today, Century is clearly focused on its niche in the infrastructure construction and asphalt paving markets. The company serves literally hundreds of customers throughout the rural West, providing high-quality commercial paving, highway paving, grading, underground utility installation, concrete forming and pouring, gravel crushing and laying, and hot-mix asphalt materials production.

Century’s overall success is perhaps most attributable to the family-like relationships of its leaders, field and office staff and their unselfish concern for the company.  The leadership team reflects a level of experience and talent that would normally be associated with much larger firms, and they believe that success begins and ends at the field level – hands on.  The employees are unparalleled in their ethics, and the communities in which Century works offer total support of the organization.
